Diana's Story A year ago I wanted to learn a new profession and learned a lot about programming from Internet and also my friends who work in this field. I find programming very useful and promising nowadays. Also, it's a challenge for me because there is a stereotype that only men can code. So I want to prove otherwise!

🙋‍♀️ Diana's Motivation

I'm 23-year-old and for a long time I'm working as a content creator. After 4 years, I can definitely say that I achieved a very good results. But now, I wanna challenge myself and learn a new profession. Also, in my country the war started a month ago. That's why I needed to leave my home and everything I had together with my mom. Now we are living in Europe and I became the head of the family very early and need to support my family. That's why I'm very interested in learning a new profession to be a relevant candidate here.

🤹‍♀️ Diana's Hobbies

For a long time I made ceramics and even participated in different exhibitions in Europe. Also I like books, watching movies and long walks with my dog.

SheCodes Foundation Mission

Women currently hold 25% of coding jobs and earn 30% less money than men. In most developing countries, more than 65% of women don't have bank accounts and cannot afford to invest in their education. Female refugees also don’t have many opportunities to invest in their education and improve their career horizon - they often work in unskilled, undervalued, and low-paid informal sectors.

SheCodes is here to help provide women in developing countries and women who are refugees with the opportunity to learn how to code for free. SheCodes offers a solid introduction to product development, product design and product management.
