Tuyakula's Story During my years of high school, I've always found the technology around me to be fascinating. I was fascinated by how things functioned in the background, whether it was video games or websites. My fascination didn't become a passion, though, until I discovered coding. My first encounter with coding was when I was scrolling through TikTok where I saw a video of a girl who was explaining what coding is and was also writing code and producing a virtual interface on the screen. I was astounded at how a few lines of code could do that and was curious to find out more. I started doing some web research and came across a ton of coding materials. I immersed myself in lessons, watched coding videos, and tried out some simple coding tasks. And I'm still learning.

🙋‍♀️ Tuyakula's Motivation

I have been fascinated by how technology can change the world for the better. How software and apps may be developed to address issues, streamline procedures, and improve people's lives has always interested me. My love for technology has only grown stronger as I've gotten older, and I think knowing how to code is the logical next step for me to explore this area further. Coding is very flexible. It enables the creation of one-of-a-kind solutions catered to specific requirements. Coding is also a kind of creative expression that empowers me to make unique and cutting-edge websites and applications. It allows me to deliver inventive ideas in life and have a genuine impact. I believe SheCodes can inspire me to improve my employment chances and pursue careers in data science, or other similar disciplines by teaching me how to code.

🤹‍♀️ Tuyakula's Hobbies

One of my favorite hobbies is watching anime. My favorite anime so far is Hunter X Hunter. Another enjoyable activity for me is photography. I can convey my creativity and viewpoint when I use a camera to photograph events, locations, and people. I like experimenting with different viewpoints, experimenting with light and shadow. Finally, I enjoy cooking and experimenting with new dishes. Making food for myself and my loved ones is something I like doing since it blends my passions for creativity, flavor, and nutrition.

SheCodes Foundation Mission

Women currently hold 25% of coding jobs and earn 30% less money than men. In most developing countries, more than 65% of women don't have bank accounts and cannot afford to invest in their education. Female refugees also don’t have many opportunities to invest in their education and improve their career horizon - they often work in unskilled, undervalued, and low-paid informal sectors.

SheCodes is here to help provide women in developing countries and women who are refugees with the opportunity to learn how to code for free. SheCodes offers a solid introduction to product development, product design and product management.
