Adenike's Story With Salesforce, it seems knowing how to code, no matter how little is inevitable. Therefore, I decided to take the bull by the horn and start learning before I will actually need it. Also, I have a passion for designing and this makes me gear towards becoming a Frontend Developer.

🙋‍♀️ Adenike's Motivation

With the pandemic and the stay at home order in my country at the time, I had extra time on my hands. I decided to improve my skills and with my research, I decided to change my career to tech. I have been an Administrative professional for more than seven years, therefore, the thought was scary. However, I started to plan towards it and started with becoming a Salesforce Administrator. In the course of my training in Salesforce, I got to know about the developer side of it when it came to automation. I have been studying various free coding courses.

🤹‍♀️ Adenike's Hobbies

I love to play tennis, take my kids to the park, travel, read, drawing, art and crafts, making jewelry.

SheCodes Foundation Mission

Women currently hold 25% of coding jobs and earn 30% less money than men. In most developing countries, more than 65% of women don't have bank accounts and cannot afford to invest in their education. Female refugees also don’t have many opportunities to invest in their education and improve their career horizon - they often work in unskilled, undervalued, and low-paid informal sectors.

SheCodes is here to help provide women in developing countries and women who are refugees with the opportunity to learn how to code for free. SheCodes offers a solid introduction to product development, product design and product management.
