Advithiya's Story I first became interested in coding when I realized how a few lines of code could simplify complex tasks and optimize our lives in extraordinary ways. The idea that I could use logical constructs to bring innovative ideas to life captivated me. Learning new programming languages felt like unlocking new dimensions of creativity, each offering unique tools to shape my imagination into reality. Coding became more than just a skill—it felt like building a virtual world where I could create, design, and solve problems, limited only by my imagination. This sense of empowerment and endless possibilities drew me deeper into the world of technology.
I am deeply passionate about coding and empowering women in tech, which aligns perfectly with SheCodes' mission. My journey in technology has been fueled by a love for creating impactful solutions, from teaching underprivileged kids programming basics to contributing to robotics and AI ML projects. I’m eager to expand my skills further, especially in fields like web development and automation, and SheCodes provides an incredible opportunity to do so. Joining this community will help me grow as a coder while contributing to the larger goal of increasing women’s representation in tech.
I’ve always loved reading, and writing my own poetry is something that feels really personal to me—it’s how I let my thoughts flow. Playing the guitar and singing are my happy places; it’s such a good vibe and never fails to lift my mood. I’m super into sports too—athletics and football are my favorites, and I love the energy and fun that comes with them. Art is another big part of my life; whether it’s painting or sketching, I’m always doodling or creating something when I get some free time. These things just make life feel fuller and more exciting.
