Akrati's Story I first became interested in coding when I realized how technology impacts every aspect of our lives and how coding is the key to creating and shaping that technology. My curiosity began when I interacted with websites and apps, wondering how they worked behind the scenes. This curiosity led me to explore basic programming, and the first time I wrote a small script and saw it come to life, I was hooked. The creative potential of coding fascinated me. I love the idea of turning ideas into tangible solutions and solving real-world problems through technology. Since then, I’ve been eager to deepen my knowledge and skills, seeing coding as both a creative outlet and a powerful tool for innovation.
My motivation for learning to code with SheCodes stems from my passion for technology and my desire to create impactful solutions. I believe coding is a powerful tool that can bridge the gap between ideas and innovation. As someone who values continuous learning and creativity, I am eager to acquire coding skills that will empower me to contribute to meaningful projects, particularly those that can make a difference in underrepresented communities. SheCodes’ supportive and inclusive learning environment aligns perfectly with my goals, as it encourages women to break barriers and excel in technology. By joining SheCodes, I aim not only to build technical expertise but also to become part of a community that inspires and uplifts. Ultimately, I want to use my skills to inspire others, especially women, to pursue careers in tech and prove that with determination and the right support, anything is possible.
In my free time, I enjoy activities that combine creativity and learning. I love exploring new technologies, experimenting with design tools, and working on small DIY tech projects. Outside of tech, I enjoy reading books on personal growth and innovation, which inspire me to think outside the box. I’m also passionate about art and often spend time sketching or painting—it’s a great way for me to relax and express myself. Additionally, I enjoy hiking and being in nature, as it helps me recharge and find inspiration. These hobbies balance my interests in technology and creativity, keeping me motivated and energized.
