Alina's Story I first became interested in coding when I was 15 years old, our city Ukrainka was connected to another city by a local network and through a slight code change I could perform different functions. I also used coding to create designs on some web pages. It was not something special, I just Googled how to do it))

🙋‍♀️ Alina's Motivation

I received a secondary education - a computer typing operator. And I have always been interested in the digital world, I believe that in our time this is how we can prescribe our future. right now I'm having a hard time, I'm alone with a child in a foreign country, I'm in limbo, a country that I thought could be reliable keeps me in limbo. I hope that with your help I can get a job so that I don’t rely on someone, and independently provide myself and the child with housing and everything necessary for it!

🤹‍♀️ Alina's Hobbies

All my life I have been reading books, writing poetry, for 3 years now I have been creating musical projects, singing songs, recording them and processing them in FL studio.

SheCodes Foundation Mission

Women currently hold 25% of coding jobs and earn 30% less money than men. In most developing countries, more than 65% of women don't have bank accounts and cannot afford to invest in their education. Female refugees also don’t have many opportunities to invest in their education and improve their career horizon - they often work in unskilled, undervalued, and low-paid informal sectors.

SheCodes is here to help provide women in developing countries and women who are refugees with the opportunity to learn how to code for free. SheCodes offers a solid introduction to product development, product design and product management.
