Andanje's Story I worked in publishing, and the new media more than shook up the industry. People who were avid readers of the magazine I was working for started following influencers for the same story published. Being a monthly magazine, we started being 'old news' when we hit the stand. It was adapt to new media or die. This got me interested in the building blocks of websites and other new media tools that make life easier and better.
My dream is to eventually build a reading app. An app that will make accessing African literature easy. Coding will help me gather all the skills needed to develop a functional one or at least know what makes a good app. I am also venturing into Tech Product Management and believe this is a step in the right direction.
I enjoy reading, writing, debating on the state of Africa and trying out new restaurants and recipes.
