Boikanyo 's Story I first became interested in coding as a first-year physics student when I realized how programming could help solve complex problems and analyze data. It fascinated me how coding could be used to model physical systems and run simulations, which sparked my curiosity to learn more about it.

My motivation for learning how to code with SheCodes stems from a desire to deepen my programming skills and advance my career in software development. SheCodes offers an empowering environment specifically tailored to women in tech, which aligns with my goal to bridge the gender gap in technology. Additionally, the hands-on workshops provide practical learning experiences that help me build projects and grow my portfolio. Through SheCodes, I aim to enhance my expertise in web development, stay updated with the latest technologies, and become a more versatile and confident software developer.

Some of my hobbies include solving puzzles, reading about new technology, and exploring nature. I enjoy staying active through hiking and biking, and I also like working on side coding projects for fun. Additionally, I like watching documentaries and trying out new recipes in my free time.

Boikanyo 's coding training

Boikanyo has gained access to SheCodes Plus for at no cost. It’s a 4 month coding training that’ll take her from a beginner to a professional.

She'll learn popular technologies, from HTML, CSS, JavaScript and development tools. She'll also get to build her own online portfolio to showcase to potential employers!

1. Basics Coding Workshop (3 weeks)
2. Basics Add-on (1 week)
3. Plus Coding Workshop (8 weeks)
4. Plus Add-on (2 weeks)
She’ll gain access to each portion after finishing the preceding portion. She’ll build up her coding knowledge gradually along the way. 🙌
