I'm driven to learn coding with SheCodes because I've always been fascinated by technology's potential to transform lives. As a law student in South Africa, I've seen firsthand how innovation can bridge gaps and create opportunities. Coding represents a new language, a new way of thinking, and a new frontier for self-expression. With SheCodes' scholarship, I'll overcome financial barriers and develop skills in web development and data analysis. I'm eager to join a community that shares my passion for learning and growth, and I'm committed to using my new skills to drive positive change in my community.

I have a diverse range of hobbies and interests. I'm passionate about reading, as it allows me to expand my knowledge. Writing is also important to me, whether it's journaling my thoughts, prayers, or boundaries. Meditation and mindfulness practices help me stay focused and centered, while yoga enhances my physical and mental well-being. Cooking and trying new recipes is a creative outlet that brings me joy, and photography and videography allow me to capture life's precious moments. I also enjoy listening to music and educational podcasts on topics like politics, law, academia, and financial stability. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with loved ones, attending concerts and festivals, visiting museums and art galleries, trying new restaurants and cuisines, watching movies and documentaries, and practicing mindfulness and self-care. I'm also an adventure-seeker and enjoy activities like hiking, swimming, ice skating, quad biking, zip lining, and exploring outdoor activities. Traveling and experiencing new cultures broadens my perspective, and learning new skills keeps me engaged and motivated.

She'll learn popular technologies, from HTML, CSS, JavaScript and development tools. She'll also get to build her own online portfolio to showcase to potential employers!
