Buhlebenkosi's Story My interest in coding started a few years ago when I became fascinated by the technology behind websites and apps I used daily. I literally have always been interested in tech and coding since High School. I remember thinking, “How do these tools come to life?” This curiosity grew when I realized that many fields, from business to healthcare, were being transformed by technology. I wanted to understand how these digital products were built, but as someone without a technical background, coding seemed like an elusive skill. Since then, my desire to learn more about coding has only grown. I realized that coding is not just for tech professionals; it’s a skill that can enhance creativity and open up countless possibilities in almost every field. This is why I’m eager to continue my coding journey with SheCodes, where I can deepen my skills in a supportive environment.
My motivation for learning how to code with SheCodes roots from a desire to expand my skill set and explore new career opportunities. I’ve always been fascinated by technology, however coding has felt like an intimidating barrier. SheCodes offers a supportive, accessible learning environment that empowers women like me to break into tech. I’m excited by the potential to build websites and apps, and to develop problem-solving skills that can help me bring ideas to life. The practical, hands-on approach of SheCodes will allow me to acquire real-world skills quickly, which is important as I look to apply them professionally. Also from the research I have been doing over the past few day, the supportive community of women also inspires me, as it provides motivation and collaboration in my learning journey. I believe SheCodes will not only help me grow personally but also open up new career paths in the tech industry.
