Corene's Story My friend is into coding so my interest in coding was sparked when I realised that she was building a website for a local startup company. I was fascinated by the way she could bring her ideas to life with code. She showed me the basics of HTML and CSS, and I was hooked. I spent the next few weeks learning everything I could, building small projects and experimenting with different languages. As I delved deeper into the world of coding, I realized how much potential it had to drive positive change in my community. I saw how technology could be used to address some of the challenges facing Zimbabwe, such as limited access to healthcare and education. I began to envision a future where I could use my skills to build solutions that could make a real difference in people's lives. That is when I knew that I wanted to pursue coding seriously. I started looking for resources and opportunities to learn more, which led me to discover SheCodes. I am excited to take my skills to the next level and start building projects that can have a real impact on my community.
