everline's Story I first became interested in coding when I saw how powerful technology can be in solving problems and connecting people. Growing up, I didn’t have access to a computer at home, but I was always fascinated by how apps and websites worked. I remember borrowing an old phone to browse, and I’d wonder, “Who makes these things? How does it all come together?” The real turning point was when I saw stories of people using coding to create solutions for their communities like apps for education, health, or even small businesses. It hit me that coding isn’t just about computers; it’s about creating change. That’s when I realized I wanted to learn how to code, not just for myself but to build tools that could help others. When I finally got my hands on a coding tutorial, even the simplest "Hello, World!" felt magical. It made me realize that I could be a creator, not just a consumer, and that’s when my journey truly began.

🙋‍♀️ everline's Motivation

rowing up in a poor background, I've always seen the challenges my community faces—lack of opportunities, education gaps, and limited access to technology. I want to break that cycle and show others that we can create change, no matter where we come from. Learning to code with SheCodes is more than just a skill for me; it’s a tool for empowerment. I’m motivated by the dream of building tech solutions that solve real problems in my community whether it’s helping girls access education, supporting small businesses, or creating platforms to amplify voices that are often unheard. I want to inspire other girls like me, who may not have much, to believe in their potential and see that they, too, can create something impactful. SheCodes feels like the bridge between where I am now and the future I dream of a future where I can uplift not only myself but also the people around me.

🤹‍♀️ everline's Hobbies

One of my favorite hobbies is exploring how things work—whether it’s tinkering with tech, solving puzzles, or even coming up with ideas for small projects that could help my community. It’s like a mix of fun and learning! I also enjoy storytelling whether it’s journaling, creating small graphics, or even imagining apps that could make life easier for people around me. I love music too; it helps me stay motivated and inspired when I’m learning or coding. And when I need a break, I enjoy spending time with friends, sharing ideas, or just having a good laugh.
