Felicia's Story As I was scrolling through my social media feed, I couldn't help but notice a significant number of posts discussing the rapidly growing need for tech professionals in today's ever-evolving digital world. These posts sparked a curiosity within me to delve deeper into the field and explore the vast opportunities it has to offer.

🙋‍♀️ Felicia's Motivation

I am determined to acquire a new skill that will give me a competitive edge in my new career. For the first time in a long time, I feel motivated to learn again. After being unsuccessful in my medical science career, I have decided to switch careers and find a job within a new field. At my age, I should have already established myself, but unfortunately, I haven't. It hurts to think I have spent my years on a futile career path. I want to be able to support myself in this economy and not depend on my mother anymore, and I believe that acquiring this new skill will help me achieve this goal.

🤹‍♀️ Felicia's Hobbies

I love going to the cinema to watch movies and spending quality time with my loved ones.

SheCodes Foundation Mission

Women currently hold 25% of coding jobs and earn 30% less money than men. In most developing countries, more than 65% of women don't have bank accounts and cannot afford to invest in their education. Female refugees also don’t have many opportunities to invest in their education and improve their career horizon - they often work in unskilled, undervalued, and low-paid informal sectors.

SheCodes is here to help provide women in developing countries and women who are refugees with the opportunity to learn how to code for free. SheCodes offers a solid introduction to product development, product design and product management.
