Gabriela's Story When I was around 13 or 14 years old, I started building my first blogs on tumblr and blogspot for fun, learned a bit of HTML and CSS this way. Fast-forward to post grad, I had a lot of questions about continuing on my field as an interior designer, until my best friend, who is a software engineer, re-introduced me to coding and its possibilities. I decided to invest in this area to rekindle my teenager hobby and turn it into a career.

🙋‍♀️ Gabriela's Motivation

Change careers and become a front-end developer, this way I can get better work opportunities and provide a better life for me and my mom. Currently I`m learning the basics of Javascript through free tutorials, but want to expand my learning with hands-on projects.

🤹‍♀️ Gabriela's Hobbies

As an ex-art student, I love the arts and everything about it. There is always a sketchbook and a book in my bag, as I love to fill the spare times drawing or reading. Also, I love to learn languages, as I learned English by myself (and currently teach it), and am also learning Italian for fun at the moment.
