gadinkame's Story I first became interested in coding during my final year of high school. Our school had introduced a new computer science program, and I was immediately drawn to it. I enjoyed the problem-solving aspect of coding and the fact that it allowed me to be creative while still working with logic and algorithms. As I delved deeper into the world of coding, I realized the immense potential it held for creating positive change. From developing assistive technologies to building platforms that promote social justice, coding seemed like an incredibly powerful tool. What really sparked my passion for coding, however, was attending a coding workshop for girls. Seeing women from diverse backgrounds come together to learn and build something from scratch was truly inspiring. It solidified my desire to pursue a career in tech and make a meaningful impact through code
I'm deeply motivated to learn how to code with SheCodes because I believe coding skills will be a game-changer for me. Growing up in South Africa, I've witnessed firsthand the impact that technology can have on communities. I'm excited about the prospect of acquiring skills that will enable me to contribute meaningfully to this field. Learning to code with SheCodes will not only enhance my career prospects but also empower me to create innovative solutions that can positively impact my community. I'm drawn to SheCodes' supportive community of women in tech, and I'm looking forward to the opportunity to learn from experienced instructors. In my free time, I enjoy exploring the beautiful outdoors of South Africa. Hiking and camping are two of my favorite activities, as they allow me to connect with nature and recharge. I'm also passionate about photography and love capturing the stunning landscapes and vibrant culture of our country. In addition to these outdoor pursuits, I'm an avid reader and enjoy getting lost in a good book. I find it's a great way to learn new things, escape reality, and exercise my imagination. Lastly, I love spending time with family and friends, whether that's trying out a new restaurant, watching a movie together, or just hanging out at home
