habtam's Story I first became interested in coding during my early years as a student. I was fascinated by how software could be used to solve real-world problems and make tasks more efficient. My curiosity grew when I started exploring web development and realized that coding could bring my ideas to life. I started learning languages like Python and JavaScript, and the process of building my own projects gave me a sense of accomplishment. Over time, I recognized that coding isn’t just a skill—it's a way to create meaningful change, which continues to inspire me to learn more.
My motivation for learning how to code with SheCodes is rooted in my desire to gain valuable technical skills that will empower me to create real-world solutions. As a software engineering student, I see coding as an essential tool for developing projects that can positively impact society, and SheCodes offers a supportive and inclusive community to help women like me thrive in tech. The hands-on approach and focus on practical learning will allow me to enhance my knowledge and ultimately contribute to bridging the gender gap in tech.
In my free time, I enjoy a variety of activities that allow me to unwind and stay creative. I'm passionate about technology, so I love exploring new coding challenges and keeping up with the latest trends in software development. Outside of coding, I enjoy reading, especially books related to tech and innovation. I also like spending time with my family and watching movies that inspire me creatively. When I need to relax, I enjoy taking walks and listening to podcasts that help me recharge.I also make time to go to church, which provides me with a sense of peace and community.
