Hendrina 's Story After graduating as a civil engineer in April 2022, I have been unemployed up to date. I have been searching for not only an opportunity that will change my unemployment status but one that I am also passionate about. After doing some research, I concluded that I am passionate about Data and Software. I then did SQL and Java lessons at Khan Academy and I loved it. I also did a Data Analytics course on Coursera and it was awesome. I love coding so much and I am excited to learn more with SheCodes, a journey with women all over the world.
As a civil engineer, I have an interest in solving and analyzing problems. It is with this background that I am an aspiring data scientist, and joining SheCodes will help me learn coding together with other women in tech. This opportunity will not only help me achieve my personal goals, but it will also help me contribute towards my country's development as a developing country with a crucial need for Data Scientists and Software Engineers.
I like to attend empowering events, events that are helping contribute to the country's development, and career-empowering seminars. I also take up coding lessons on Khan Academy and other free sites. I also like to watch Youtube videos related to technology.
