Hilda's Story I first became interested in coding when I realised how much technology shapes our world and the endless possibilities it offers. The idea of being able to create something from scratch, like websites, apps, or even solving real-world problems through code, fascinated me. I was also drawn to the logical and problem-solving aspects of coding, where each challenge is like a puzzle waiting to be solved. As I explored more, I saw how coding could be a powerful tool for creativity, innovation, and making a tangible impact, which sparked my desire to learn more.
My motivation for learning how to code with SheCodes would be to gain practical, hands-on experience in a supportive and inclusive environment. SheCodes is known for empowering women in tech, offering a community where I can learn at my own pace and develop skills that are increasingly valuable in today's job market. Coding opens up new career opportunities and allows me to bring creative ideas to life, whether through web development, data analysis, or automating tasks. The structured curriculum and real-world projects with SheCodes would be a great way to build confidence and competence in coding.
I enjoy a mix of creative and reflective hobbies. Poetry and creative writing are two passions of mine, where I can express thoughts and emotions in unique ways. I also like diving into research on various topics, whether it's for personal growth or just out of curiosity. Besides that, I find coding to be both a hobby and a skill-building activity, as it allows me to solve problems and create things from scratch. When I want to unwind, I enjoy spending time outdoors or reading a good book.
