Hilina 's Story I first became interested in coding during a school project where I created a simple webpage using HTML. Although it was basic, I felt proud of what I had built, and it sparked my curiosity about programming. After that experience, I started exploring coding on my own. I read articles, watched videos, and tried free tutorials online. The more I learned, the more I realized how powerful coding can be. It’s amazing to see how technology shapes our world and how coding is behind so many things we use every day. I’m especially interested in how coding can be used to solve real-world problems. Whether it’s creating apps, websites, or tools, coding gives us the ability to bring ideas to life. I want to use this skill to create projects that are meaningful and helpful to others. This is why I’m excited about SheCodes. It’s an opportunity to take my interest in coding to the next level and learn in a structured environment. I know this program will give me the skills and confidence I need to pursue a career in technology.
My main motivation for learning coding is my desire to create projects that make a difference. Coding allows people to solve problems, create useful tools, and bring ideas to life. I want to be part of that process. SheCodes stands out to me because it focuses on empowering women to succeed in technology. This is important because women are often underrepresented in the tech industry. By joining SheCodes, I hope to gain the skills I need to build a better future for myself and others. Technology is everywhere, and coding is an essential skill in today’s world. I want to learn how to build websites, apps, and other tools that solve real problems. SheCodes offers a unique opportunity to learn coding in a structured and supportive environment. I’m excited to learn, grow, and work hard during this program. My goal is to use my skills to help my community and inspire others to pursue careers in technology. I believe SheCodes is the perfect place for me to start this journey.
I enjoy writing poetry because it allows me to express my thoughts and creativity. I also like exploring new technologies and working on small projects in my free time. Reading books and learning about different cultures are other hobbies I enjoy. These activities inspire me and help me grow as a person.
