Isabella's Story I was fortunate enough to receive a scholarship to a coding academy, where I had the opportunity to dive into programming. It was here where I saw, first-hand, what goes on behind the scenes of all that I used to just 'view'. I learnt about the logic and the creativity it takes to make things work. Every single time I sit down to code, I'm ever amazed by the rewarding and sometimes frustrating feeling I get all at once, the times when you're code finally runs and when you're struggling to debug. That mix, ironically, is what keeps me consistently engaged in coding.
I'm more than interested in learning and developing my skills in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS for my personal growth. These languages are simple yet powerful, and the wonder of how much more they can offer constantly inspires me to dive deeper. I am motivated by the idea that with each new concept I master, I can create something meaningful, whether it be by building functional websites or solving actual problems. What thrills me the most is knowing that coding is a skill that allows me to grow day by day. By getting a clear understanding about these languages, I hope to build a strong foundation for a future in tech.
There's quite a number of things I like to do for fun, but if I had to name a few, I would say dance, spending time with my family, listening to music, etc. I love my family and genuinely believe that they are the bane of my existence. I believe I have a diverse taste in music as I often enjoy listening to songs in languages I don't understand for my guilty pleasure. I love reading mystery novels and watching all kinds of movies.
