Ishema's Story I always wanted to do computer sciences from a young age but i didn't quite know what field in computer science I would do, for coding specifically ;I first became interested in it during my senior three year in O'level when a friend who studied at my school a year ahead of me joined Rwanda Coding Academy and she introduced me to some if the basics of coding and it really interested me seeing all the things you can do and make with your computer like amazing websites and apps and it was so fascinating to me for a young teen to be able to do such things all during secondary so it quickly became a passion for me from then till now.
I have always have been interested in coding an software programming since my O'level and luckily i got accepted into Rwanda Coding Academy to study coding and for me personally I always grew up with a passion for the medicine sector which is what pushes me to be better at coding so I can help out as much as I can and bring to new innovations to the medical sector. I and some colleagues have started working on some projects at school targeting this field and to fully succeed I believe I need to acquire as many coding skills as I can get to be better with not just content from school but from other resources too such as the sheCodes workshops
I am one of the people that depend a lot on music so that is something I like to do, I am on my school's basketball too because I like to play the sport a lot as it helps me get my daily exercise and helps me freshen up my mind too. I also joined the school modern dance team since I like dancing very much in my free time and I like reading novels too especially the genre of mystery novels.
