Jane's Story Technology is everywhere and there is no doubt that it has become a part of our daily life whether it’s entertainment or we have to communicate with someone or we have to go somewhere. To better understand technology is to learn how to code and program a computer, I really want this myself and many more women out there.I am certain that the finest thing one can do to alter the world is to learn to code because it will educate us how to comprehend it and how to address the issues we face every day. I really do hope I get this opportunity.

🙋‍♀️ Jane's Motivation

I want to understand this world, to solve the problems we encounter every day in our life especially in South Africa and Africa as a whole and that is the best thing you can do to change this world. SheCodes offers that, it empowers women to get in the industry that has been long known to belong to men. There’s a saying by Steve Jobs “Everybody in this country should learn how to program a computer… because it teaches you how to think” when I saw this my country definitely deserves more programmers especially female programmers to break certain stereotypes and stigma. It’s also hard finding a job in South Africa and I believe getting into tech can definitely change my life for the better so I can give myself and my family a shot at a better life.

🤹‍♀️ Jane's Hobbies

I go out with friends(different outings of course) but I’m mostly in doors I’m not much of social person so basically I can say watching movies is one of my favourite things to do.
