Kearabetswe 's Story When I became aware of how much technology affects our surroundings, I developed an interest in coding. I wanted to know how coding could be applied to creative problem-solving, sustainability initiatives, and data analysis. The more I looked into it, the more I realised it might lead to new professional opportunities. For someone like myself who is new to the subject, SheCodes' structured and beginner-friendly approach makes learning coding more approachable and useful, which is why I selected it.
I am motivated to learn how to code with SheCodes because I want to expand my career opportunities and gain a valuable digital skill. With my background in environmental science, I see coding as a way to enhance my problem-solving abilities and explore opportunities in environmental data analysis or technology-driven sustainability solutions. I like to read, watch films, and listen to music when I have free time. While films offer an escape and an opportunity to study other stories and ideas, music aids in my relaxation and unwinding. I also enjoy reading, particularly books about technology and environmental science, which keep me up to date on new advancements and pique my interest in the digital world.
