Keerthana's Story My coding journey began in 11th grade when I was introduced to programming, but I didn’t fully understand its significance back then. It was only after I entered college that I realized how powerful coding can be and what it can accomplish. Initially, I started learning C language through my college curriculum, but as I progressed, I delved into Python and other technologies. I realized that coding could solve real-world problems and create innovative solutions. However, I noticed a gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application, which sparked my deeper interest in coding and pushed me to seek opportunities like SheCodes to enhance my skills.
I am highly motivated to join SheCodes because I want to enhance my practical coding skills, which will open up more job opportunities and help me build a successful career in tech. Coming from a lower-middle-class background, I know that improving my coding skills is essential to providing a better life for my family. Although I’ve gained theoretical knowledge in coding, I’ve realized that I need more hands-on, practical experience to become proficient and prepared for real-world challenges. The SheCodes program offers exactly what I need to bridge this gap and advance in my coding journey, and I hope it will give me the boost needed to excel in my career.
I enjoy playing badminton, tennis, and basketball. I love doing crafts, especially creating useful things from waste materials. Practicing yoga helps me keep my mind calm, and I enjoy learning new things by reading books, and learn new languages for fun.
