Kegomoditswe's Story They put robotics as part of my subjects to teach at work and I need to have the right tools to help my learners. I need the right background and skills to help learners. Right now I am learning as they learn which for me takes down my confidence

🙋‍♀️ Kegomoditswe's Motivation

I want to do better for my family. My sister has an autistic child, my mom is unemployed and I have 2 brothers that need to be in university. Getting this correct might help me get a promotion at work which would mean more money, which means I could finally afford a place I can call my own and not have to share with people.

🤹‍♀️ Kegomoditswe's Hobbies

On weekends I love being home with my nephew. He has autism so the fact that we can do burgers together and tomorrow he’s waking up to make me one by himself is amazing. The fact that we baked together. I got into hiking recently, I enjoy this. Just being able to distress and unplug for minute. Gym is another favourite, you suffer in the moment but endorphins are released and it feels so good.

SheCodes Foundation Mission

Women currently hold 25% of coding jobs and earn 30% less money than men. In most developing countries, more than 65% of women don't have bank accounts and cannot afford to invest in their education. Female refugees also don’t have many opportunities to invest in their education and improve their career horizon - they often work in unskilled, undervalued, and low-paid informal sectors.

SheCodes is here to help provide women in developing countries and women who are refugees with the opportunity to learn how to code for free. SheCodes offers a solid introduction to product development, product design and product management.
