Khaing Zin 's Story The first person who introduced the coding world was my mother. She took me to her IT school and I started volunteering as a basic computer assistant teacher. As a benefit of volunteering, I can attend any classes in that school and I attended in basic programming class. That's how I started my first coding class. After that, I got interested in programming because I always liked problem-solving and and a desire to contribute to creating a more comfortable world for people.

🙋‍♀️ Khaing Zin 's Motivation

SheCodes is widely recognized for its focus on coding education, particularly for women. Currently residing in Myanmar, I paused my educational pursuits in 2021 due to the political unrest in our nation. Nevertheless, I am determined not to abandon my aspiration of becoming a programmer and web developer. The SheCodes course presents an ideal opportunity for me to pursue my goal of becoming a web developer. I am confident that SheCodes can enhance both my programming skills and contribute to my career progression.

🤹‍♀️ Khaing Zin 's Hobbies

I like watching movies, riding bicycles, and listening to music as a hobby. I also like to shoot vlogs and editing as for fun.

SheCodes Foundation Mission

Women currently hold 25% of coding jobs and earn 30% less money than men. In most developing countries, more than 65% of women don't have bank accounts and cannot afford to invest in their education. Female refugees also don’t have many opportunities to invest in their education and improve their career horizon - they often work in unskilled, undervalued, and low-paid informal sectors.

SheCodes is here to help provide women in developing countries and women who are refugees with the opportunity to learn how to code for free. SheCodes offers a solid introduction to product development, product design and product management.
