LEBOHANG's Story I had a friend in high school that enjoyed technology that she started learning html from YouTube and I really was fascinated by the output of her work when ever she would code, it wasn’t much with html but it was really inspiring to see how a few lines of code could produce something like a website. It intrigued me and I began to do research of my own and tried to see how I can also fit in that space as it was a male dominated space in that time, it intimidated me and I let it go but it still stuck with me and now here I am fully pursuing it with better understanding and confidence.
I prioritise growth in my life and believe that I’m always learning something from someone and I love Tech for the reason that it’s always changes and it’s innovative hence the career choice. I would love to improve the skills I currently have and be better than I currently am, I want to learn how to code efficiently because I believe it will empower me to make an impact in my life. I hope to gain not only technical but also the confidence and network to pursue a career in tech and this opportunity fits the vision for goals. Tech has so many opportunities that would change my life and my family’s life for good.
Gaming- I enjoy playing games with my partner at his parents house because he has a console and it’s extremely fun because it evokes my problem solving and competitive side! Pottery - Although this is very recent, my friends mom has a pottery machine and my friend has recently invited me to make a bowl and it was so nice and it really inspired creativity. Spending time with family and friends. Learning a bit more
