Lethabo's Story I first became interested in coding when I realized how it powers so much of the digital world around us. As a graphic designer, I was initially drawn to the creative side of technology, but I soon became curious about how websites and applications are built behind the scenes. My fascination grew when I began exploring design tools that integrated coding elements, like HTML and CSS, and I saw the potential to combine creativity with functionality. I want to expand my skills and fully unlock the ability to bring ideas to life through coding.
My motivation for learning how to code with SheCodes stems from a deep passion for technology and creativity. As a graphic designer and aspiring software tester, I’ve realized how coding can enhance my skills and open new doors for innovation. I want to create impactful, functional designs that go beyond visuals and integrate seamless user experiences. SheCodes’ focus on empowering women inspires me to be part of a supportive community where I can learn and contribute to breaking barriers in tech. Ultimately, I want to use these skills to empower others, especially young girls, by showing them the possibilities within the tech world
I have a variety of hobbies that keep me inspired and energized! I absolutely love going out to watch movies, as it’s a great way to unwind and immerse myself in creative storytelling. I’m also a huge fan of video games—they challenge me and fuel my competitive side. Anime holds a special place in my heart because of its unique art styles and compelling stories, which have influenced my own artistic journey. Above all, I’m passionate about art in all forms, whether it’s sketching, designing, or simply appreciating creativity in the world around me
