Lihle 's Story I first became interested in coding when I found myself asking a lot of questions concerning technology and the internet. I was curious to know a lot about how websites work, who develops websites, how information gets to our screens and many more questions. Curiosity made me look into how websites are created and how the digital world works. I found out that there is a lot of behind-the-sereen work that is done, and the interest to learn how to create and code grew.
I am in a relatively stable financial position where I am supported by my father who is the sole-breadwinner of 6. Now that he has retired from work, I need to make means of creating an income stream for myself. My motivation for learning how to code on SheCodes is how it caters to women who are usually not recognized in male-dominated spaces and careers. As a young South African female, I've been looking for a platform that affords me the opportunity to learn how to code without having to pay any fees. Fortunately for me, after months of trying to find the right platform, SheCodes fell right at my feet. With many beautiful reviews and the success stories I have come across, SheCodes seems like the best platform for me to become a success among other successes.
I enjoy hiking just to reboot and in touch with nature and my body. The scenery on top of the mountain is a sight for sore eyes! I also enjoy activities such as crocheting and knitting as an opportunity to be creative by exploring new patterns and colors. I love doing anything that challenges my mind, but at the same time relaxes my mind and these three hobbies do exactly that.
