Linh's Story It still brings me lots of emotions when recalling the time I was in secondary school, and was introduced to our IT subject with the main focus on Pascal. It was so great knowing that you can actually communicate with a non-living being like a computer. Also, Pascal in specific and our IT subject in general helped me to realize that in order to achieve a particular goal, there's not only one way to go, but multiple other approaches for you to keep trying.
Beside being able to figure out solutions with a logic and creative mindset, I find coding to be one of the least subjects which allows us to learn to deal with failure, as the problem in coding can have multiple solutions at the same time. When some ways didn't work out the way we wanted, we learn from the lessons and keep working on it. I believe this would be the spirit that I'm able to spread out when sharing with my small community of learning friends, in order to motivate them further. Moreover, having been challenged with the role of a Product Owner in an E-commerce company, with the background in Economics, I can clearly see that there are just so much new knowledge areas that I'm really excited to explore and dip myself in, including coding, to acquire a T-shaped skillset. This would definitely help me to understand my colleagues better, and to communicate with them with more optimized solutions towards the product we're working on.
I would play my keyboard, read books and study (via video, articles or researches) about how Technology is rocketing. Also, I'm having an interest in Education, especially for STEM Education, so I'm reading more about it and looking for any opportunities to experience both Education and Technology at once. I also really like stargazing!
