Mahlatse's Story I have been interested in coding for a while. I have friends who's studied computer sciences and I always found the work that they were doing to be interesting. I have family members in the tech industry and wathcing them thrive piqued my interest.
My motivation for applying to SheCodes is that I have a keen interest in software development and I believe that I can thrive in this space. It is also a space that has a lot more employment opportunities and I want to be able to be independent and help out my mother financially.
My biggest hobbies right now are writing and listening to podcasts. I recently started a personal blog and my favourite podcast ast the moment is called Vergecast.
