Mamoraka Karabo's Story My interest in coding started when I realized how powerful it is in biomedical research and healthcare. While studying biomedicine, I became fascinated by bioinformatics and how coding can be used to analyze complex biological data, optimize treatment strategies, and even contribute to disease research. I also enjoy problem-solving and data analysis, and coding provides a perfect blend of both. As I explored more about how programming can enhance scientific research, I became eager to develop my skills and apply them in real-world healthcare solutions.
As a biomedical science student with a growing interest in bioinformatics and data analysis, I recognize the importance of coding in advancing healthcare solutions. Learning to code will allow me to analyze biological data more effectively, optimize research processes, and contribute to innovations in personalized medicine. Additionally, as a woman in STEM, I am excited to be part of a community that empowers women through technology.
I enjoy baking, crocheting, coloring, and reading novels, as they allow me to express my creativity and unwind. I also love public speaking and planning, as they help me develop communication and organizational skills. Additionally, I have a strong interest in data analysis and problem-solving, which is why coding excites me—I see it as a way to merge creativity with logic. In my free time, I also like studying new topics, taking pictures, listening to music, and watching series.
