Maria's Story At first I studied computer science in high school, but then I didn't keep it at the university since I thought that it wasn't for me (there was not too much information about it in my country) and that I wouldn't be able to work while learning, so I studied marketing. Now that I work for a technology company I rediscovered the value of coding and I think that maybe it is not too late for me to start learning. I really love the analytical thinking, the creativity and I think that I do have potencial.
I work in a paraguayan startup and I became really interested in the developer job. I also know that it can be an improvement in my job skills in the technology area. I love the work that She Codes does and how they're changing women's life all around the world. It inspired me and made me think that it is not too late, that I can learn from scratch and be great at coding. I felt like I just found my spot and opportunity to learn.
I love reading, writing, puzzles and oil painting (I'm not that good, but it relaxes me). I also enjoy watching thriller series/movies and movies in general. I like hanging out with friends too.
