Maríllia's Story In my current job, I work directly with developers and even include some code in content programming activities on the backend. For a long time, I thought I didn't have the ability to dive deeper into the field, until I attended a free class by She Codes and asked myself, 'Why not give it a try?'
I have a degree in Journalism, hold a PhD in the field, and have been working as a community manager at a marketing company in the online dating apps sector for two years. My biggest motivation is my 9-month-old son, who has completely transformed my priorities and professional aspirations. I believe I've been experiencing burnout in the communication field for some years now, and I would like to transition to something that offers more stability and free time to spend with my baby.
A good glass of wine with friends or a walk in the park with my baby and my partner are the best things I can do in my free time lately.
