Maureen's Story I became interested in coding some years back when I saw a family friend who was studying computer science coding with a programming language. I was intrigued by him solving problems and the creating something from scratch using lines of code. I became interested in the fact that there are so many things that coding can do. Ranging from developing applications that makes our daily tasks easier, to making innovative solutions to real-world problems. Over time, I began to appreciate coding not only as a technical skill but also as a creative outlet that enables individuals to innovate, collaborate, and make a difference in the world. This exposed my relentless pursuit of knowledge and a desire to master coding.
My motivation for learning how to code has always been a passion for for leveraging technology to drive positive change and innovation. Growing up, I have always wanted to be in the forefront on a computer but I was discouraged because my parent felt it for boys. But as an adult, I see powerful transformation technology has done in the society and also in improving health care and enhancing educational opportunities. I believe that coding is not just about programming, but it's a gateway to creating solutions that can uplift communities and make a lasting impact. By mastering coding skills, I aspire to contribute to the development of solutions that help address global issues, and pave the way for a more sustainable future. Receiving this financial aid will not only enable me to pursue my academic and career goals in the tech industry but also empower me to give back to my community by developing impactful projects that resonate with my values and aspirations
I love to read books that motivates me to push ahead. I like to play games like scrabble and chess. I also like to volunteer for community services cos it allows me give back to the society. I feel more calm when I listen to musics
