Maurice's Story I first became interested in coding when I stumbled upon a simple website-building tool. I was just trying to create a personal blog, but as I played around with the settings, I found myself fascinated by how different elements came together to form a complete site. I wanted to understand how it all worked beneath the surface, so I started reading up on HTML and CSS. The more I learned, the more it felt like unlocking a new language that could bring my ideas to life. From that point on, I knew I wanted to dive into coding and see where this skill could take me.
My motivation to learn coding with SheCodes is rooted in a genuine fascination with technology and how it shapes the world around us. I've always been drawn to exploring new tools, keeping up with tech trends, and troubleshooting issues for those around me, it just feels natural to dive deeper. Coding is the next level for me; it’s a skill that will let me build things from scratch, bring ideas to life, and create solutions to real-world problems. I see it as a doorway to exciting new opportunities, both professionally and personally, and SheCodes feels like the right place to make that leap.
I love being outdoors, discovering new music, relaxing with a book, and getting creative with artistic design.
