Medha's Story My interest in coding first sparked after I completed my 9th grade. It all began when I took an introductory computer science course at school. The course covered the basics of programming, and I was immediately fascinated by the concept of writing code to create functional programs. I remember the excitement of writing my first lines of code and seeing the computer execute commands that I had written. It felt like unlocking a new language and a new way of thinking. Around the same time, I started exploring online resources and tutorials on my own. Platforms like Codecademy and Khan Academy became my go-to places for learning more about coding. I spent hours experimenting with simple projects, from creating basic websites using HTML and CSS to writing small scripts in Python. The sense of accomplishment I felt when a piece of code worked correctly was incredibly motivating.
