Molebogeng's Story I first became interested in coding while I was in matric. Two of my classmates would go on and on about coding and coding languages. I would listen in on their conversations and even though I barely had any knowledge about it, I was still so fascinated. I told myself that one day I will learn how to code and gain a full understanding of what is goes on in the tech world. My older cousin also studied a BSc in computer science, and she has managed to change her life for the better. All the hard work she put in really plays a huge part in her life, so that really has been an inspiration. Technology advances every day, and I would really love to keep up to date with the changes.
I have always had a strong interest in learning how to code since high school, but fear held me back. Fear of the unknow really, because hearing my classmates mention about how hard it was, made me second guess myself. Seeing my older cousin complete her degree after putting in the work and changing her life drastically reminded me of how important this achievement is to me and what it would mean to me. I have always accomplished anything that I put my mind to, and her achievement reminded me of that. What motivates me most is the strong urge to change the financial situation at home, I believe I will be able to do that with a career in tech.
I really love watching YouTube videos on coding. I enjoy walking my dogs in the afternoons and doing the garden. I also enjoy a really good book.
