Morisha's Story My interest in coding began in 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic. With more time at home, I found myself exploring new skills and discovered the world of programming. I started using free online resources to teach myself basic coding concepts, which sparked my curiosity and excitement for technology. As I delved into coding, I became eager to pursue it more seriously. However, financial constraints have made it challenging for me to commit to this path full-time. Now, with the opportunity presented by She Codes, I see a pathway to gain structured knowledge and support to help me transition into a tech career.

🙋‍♀️ Morisha's Motivation

My motivation for learning how to code with She Codes stems from my desire to shift into a career that offers both employment opportunities and long-term growth. Over the past few years, I have been increasingly drawn to the technology sector, recognizing the immense potential it holds for innovation and problem-solving. However, despite this interest, I have not yet had the resources to fully explore it. She Codes offers the stepping stone I need to begin this journey. The program provides not only the foundational skills to break into coding but also the supportive community and structured learning that will help me succeed. I am excited to gain hands-on experience, expand my technical knowledge, and develop skills that will allow me to contribute meaningfully to a field I am becoming passionate about. I see coding as an essential skill in today’s world, and I am eager to use it as a tool to solve real-world problems, whether through building applications or improving business processes. This opportunity will not only allow me to grow professionally but also help me stay ahead in a fast-evolving job market, giving me the flexibility and confidence to pursue diverse roles in technology."

🤹‍♀️ Morisha's Hobbies

I am an avid reader and absolutely love immersing myself in books, as they provide both entertainment and knowledge. Alongside reading, I enjoy teaching myself new skills, particularly in coding and front-end development. I actively seek out free resources online to expand my understanding. Cooking and baking are also passions of mine. I find joy in experimenting with recipes and trying out new dishes, and I’m a big fan of Jamie Oliver’s cooking style.
