Mukhethwa 's Story My interest in coding started with simple curiosity. I’ve always been fascinated by technology—how websites, apps, and games work behind the scenes. But for the longest time, coding felt like something too complex, something only for “tech people.” That changed when I stumbled upon a basic HTML and CSS tutorial. Seeing how a few lines of code could turn into a real webpage felt like magic. It was empowering, like unlocking a secret language that shapes the digital world. From that moment, I wanted to learn more. What really pulled me in was the creativity in coding. I always thought of programming as something purely logical, but I realized it’s also about design, problem-solving, and bringing ideas to life. Whether it’s making a website look beautiful or automating a task, coding offers endless possibilities. Another reason I became interested in coding is the opportunity it brings. Technology is shaping the future, and I want to be part of that. Learning to code feels like gaining a superpower—the ability to create, innovate, and maybe even make a difference. Now, I’m excited to keep learning, improving, and seeing where this journey takes me.

🙋‍♀️ Mukhethwa 's Motivation

Learning to code with SheCodes is more than just picking up a new skill—it’s about empowerment, creativity, and opening doors to opportunities I never thought possible. Technology shapes our world, and I want to be part of that transformation, not just a spectator. I’ve always been curious about how websites and apps work, but coding seemed intimidating. SheCodes makes it accessible, and that’s what excites me the most. I love the idea of building something from scratch, solving problems, and seeing my ideas come to life through code. Beyond personal growth, I see coding as a way to create change. Whether it’s designing user-friendly websites, working on projects that help communities, or simply gaining the confidence to step into the tech world, I know these skills will be invaluable. SheCodes also represents a supportive community where women can learn and thrive in a traditionally male-dominated field. Being part of that movement is inspiring. At the end of the day, I’m not just learning to code—I’m learning to think differently, embrace challenges, and prepare for a future where I can contribute meaningfully to the digital world.
