Natalia's Story Since I was a kid, I loved to create little games in Power Point. I’ve always enjoyed playing video games, but at home back then, we only had one old PC that did not have games installed and no consoles (Video games were not something common for a girl, plus it was not something my mom could afford, her incomes were to paid rent and other debts). I used to go to a cyber cafe and became obsessed with dress up games, so I created a PPT that had some PJs drawn in Paint and started to play with some buttons that triggered the logic to play my own game (The initial PJ had not hair not make up and the final result was a doll with a full outfit, it took me months and there's when I realized variables requires more logic than math). That was the first experience I had trying to understand how games can be created, and since then, although I haven’t had the chance to study programming or another career, I've always keep that memory with me of how it felt to overcome a challenge through a creative idea and basic tools.

🙋‍♀️ Natalia's Motivation

Understanding how things work has been my passion since I can remember. I’m a native creative, I've study some art courses and nothing compares with the feeling of knowing how something has been built or created or creating/crafting something with my bare hands. I’m currently working in the tech industry, and I’d love to take the next step to start building a career path. While I’ve had the opportunity to explore some problem-solving skills within my role, my goal is to aspire to a dev position or UX design role.

🤹‍♀️ Natalia's Hobbies

Playing video games (alone and with my friends), painting, practicing embroidery, practicing digital illustration and Photoshop, reading psychology literature, comics, and graphic novels, going on a walk with my dog, watching art and tech-related videos, and playing with AI prompts—I had a Mid Journey trial, and I just loved it! and I’m currently amazed by how the tech industry is changing within AI development.
