Nataliia's Story I have a friend who works as a backend developer, also I was trying to learn how QA engineering works, I was interested. I also have few skills in web design and economic education, so I can roughly understand that the IT field will be a good chance for me to get new opportunities.

🙋‍♀️ Nataliia's Motivation

I have lost my job because of the war, my previous working place was closed, so even if the war will stop today I have no job. All my family lost their jobs as well and we are still staying in Ukraine, so I understand that i need to have a lot of new skills and knolages to get new job. Obviously it is better to havу a remote job, so if we will have to move I will still have an apportunity to make money for me and my family.

🤹‍♀️ Nataliia's Hobbies

For a now I have a web design as a hobbie, also I know that I have good management skills, so sometimes I like to hepl my friends with it, I feel like I am both doing something good for people and improving my skills.

SheCodes Foundation Mission

Women currently hold 25% of coding jobs and earn 30% less money than men. In most developing countries, more than 65% of women don't have bank accounts and cannot afford to invest in their education. Female refugees also don’t have many opportunities to invest in their education and improve their career horizon - they often work in unskilled, undervalued, and low-paid informal sectors.

SheCodes is here to help provide women in developing countries and women who are refugees with the opportunity to learn how to code for free. SheCodes offers a solid introduction to product development, product design and product management.
