Nicoo's Story It all started during a program on sustainability and technology. I remember one of the facilitators showing how programming could be used to model solutions for environmental challenges. It was like magic! Later, a friend introduced me to artificial intelligence and challenged me to create something small. I was hooked. That’s when I realized coding is like having a magic wand to solve real-world problems.
🌟 What is your motivation for learning how to code with SheCodes? I’ve always been passionate about space exploration and how technology can improve life on Earth. Learning to code with SheCodes will not only enhance my skills to develop educational projects like Balance Aerospace, but it will also help me connect my love for aerospace engineering with artificial intelligence. Plus, I want to create accessible tools that inspire young people in my home country, the Dominican Republic, to dream big and reach for the stars.
I’m a big fan of reading books about space exploration and science fiction (because, who doesn’t want to travel on a spaceship like the ones in The Expanse?). I also enjoy piloting planes in my free time (as an scholarship recipient), which feels like playing video games but in real life. And, of course, I love organizing educational workshops where science meets creativity.
