Nompendulo Karabo's Story I first became interested in coding during my first year at university while studying for my degree. As I explored different aspects of IT, I found myself drawn to software development and decided to major in it. I enjoyed the problem-solving aspect of coding and the ability to create functional solutions, which fueled my passion for the field.
I recently completed my Advanced Diploma in Information Technology and am currently waiting for my graduation. While I wait, I want to improve my IT skills and continue growing in the field. I have been struggling to secure entry-level jobs, such as software engineering roles or internships, and I believe that SheCodes will help me build a stronger foundation. This program will allow me to enhance my coding skills, gain hands-on experience, and ultimately increase my employability in the tech industry.
Some of my hobbies include playing soccer and coding. I enjoy staying active through soccer, as it helps me relax and stay motivated. I also love coding in my free time, whether it's building small projects or learning new programming concepts. It’s exciting to solve problems and see my ideas come to life through code!
