Novricana's Story What inspired me the most in coding was the chance to come up with solutions that could be used around the global community. In my eyes, technology is the ultimate tool in dealing with a lot of issues. This surely has been a driving force of my love for software engineering. Through my Major and involvement in leadership trainings I have deeper understanding of global solutions in health and other areas deeper than I used to, and my yearning to use my learned skills has been increased much; I aim at positively contributing to my society and to the world at large.
The reason why I want to train with SheCodes is that ,it has everything to do with my strong drive for using technology as a tool of making a significant difference in other people’s lives. As a student who is studying software engineering, I am very much aware of the potential coding skills have when it comes to bringing transformation. My goal is not only learning code but also creating innovative responses that address social injustices across different marginalized and underprivileged persons’ in our communities. SheCodes presents an exceptional environment which is supportive and aligns with my objective perfectly. The community and structured learning paths will help me deepen my understanding of coding principles and best practices, equipping me with the necessary skills to bring my ideas to life. Furthermore, the emphasis on women empowerment resonates with me personally since I strongly believe that diversity and inclusion in tech industry are vital. I am hoping that through SheCodes I could acquire enough knowledge so that I can be of value while contributing on projects aimed at uplifting others.
