Ntandoyenkosi's Story After leaving my accounting career in 2018, I took a Google IT course and developed an interest in coding. Learning the fundamentals of technology ignited an interest in the creativity and logic of code. I came to see that learning to code may lead to both a rewarding job and a chance to motivate others.
I first became interested in coding after a significant turning point in my career. I had been working in accounting without an accounting qualification education, and when I lost my job in 2018, I saw it as an opportunity to explore something new. I’d always been curious about technology and how things work behind the scenes, so I decided to take a Google IT course to learn more. Through this course, I gained foundational tech skills and was fascinated by the logic, creativity, and problem-solving involved in coding. Learning more about tech sparked a passion in me to dive deeper into programming. I began to see coding as a way to build something meaningful, and the idea of creating solutions from scratch really excited me. This initial exposure helped me realize how versatile and empowering coding could be, and it inspired me to pursue a new career path where I could not only grow but also inspire others to consider the possibility of a career change, no matter where they start.
Some of my hobbies include exploring new technology and learning new skills online, especially in IT and coding. When I want to unwind, I like spending time outdoors, going on walks, and finding ways to stay active and energized.
