Nur Izzati's Story I was first introduced to coding during university, where I found it quite challenging due to the variety of modules (C++, Java, PHP, SQL). It wasn't until my final year project, where I had the chance to build an AR app using C#/Unity, that I truly engaged with coding. Although it felt a bit overwhelming at first, I gradually got the hang of it by the end. Since then, I've been picking up other programming languages to build up my portfolios. Fast forward 2023, I've successfully landed a job as a junior software developer. Although I understand the basics of coding, there are still some tech areas that I've found myself harder to grasp. That's what prompt me to look for tech bootcamps/courses that can help me improve my skillsets and hands-on experience to better apply these skills in real-world scenarios.
My main goal is to improve my understanding on coding implementation and various tech stacks to facilitate better communication with my tech team. In order to do that, I believe that building my coding skills can help to bridge the gap between technical and non-technical aspects of my work, making collaboration more effective and efficient.
I like to blast my Spotify and sketch whenever I'm on my free time. Recently, I bought a guitar, so you can imagine how my evenings go now (don’t worry, I gave my housemate a heads-up; they’re cool with it). 😁
