Olena Kutasevych

🇺🇦 Ukrainian living in Rivne, 🇺🇦 Ukraine
✅ Approved by

Olena's Story I have long been thinking of starting an education in IT. But before moving abroad, in Ukraine, I had a good job. I worked in a bank. So there was no need to change anything. Now I need to learn a new profession to be able to earn money and feed my family.

🙋‍♀️ Olena's Motivation

Due to financial difficulties, I am looking for new job opportunities. I prefer work where I will not be tied to one place. That is, I will be able to work abroad and eventually return to Ukraine. I believe that education and work in AIT is currently the most relevant.

🤹‍♀️ Olena's Hobbies

I like to design. Ten years ago, I worked as a designer for a small magazine. Unfortunately, it closed quickly. I also spent some time designing logos and invitations for a wedding agency. My hobby is reading. I like to read fiction. And I also love to travel.

SheCodes Foundation Mission

Women currently hold 25% of coding jobs and earn 30% less money than men. In most developing countries, more than 65% of women don't have bank accounts and cannot afford to invest in their education. Female refugees also don’t have many opportunities to invest in their education and improve their career horizon - they often work in unskilled, undervalued, and low-paid informal sectors.

SheCodes is here to help provide women in developing countries and women who are refugees with the opportunity to learn how to code for free. SheCodes offers a solid introduction to product development, product design and product management.
