Omphemetse's Story In high school, my best friend and I were eager to expand our horizons by attending extra classes. One of the activities that caught our attention was coding, and we enthusiastically joined the class. We were fascinated by the world of programming and dedicated ourselves to learning. However, our excitement was short-lived. Despite our hard work and dedication, we faced a significant obstacle - transportation. Unfortunately, we didn't have a way to get to the exam venue, and as a result, we missed the opportunity to take the exam and complete the course. This experience left a lasting impact on me. I realized that sometimes, circumstances beyond our control can hinder our progress. But it also taught me the importance of perseverance and determination. Although we didn't get to complete the course, my interest in coding never faded. I continued to explore and learn, and now I'm eager to further develop my skills and pursue a career in tech. I hope to inspire others who may face similar challenges, showing them that with persistence and passion, they too can overcome obstacles and achieve their goals.
I'm currently facing a significant obstacle in my journey towards empowerment. Despite my determination to succeed, I'm struggling to overcome the financial barriers that stand in my way. As a woman from a disadvantaged background, I've had to overcome countless challenges to get to where I am today. But now, I'm in desperate need of support to continue my education and skills development. Without financial assistance, I risk falling behind and losing the progress I've made so far. That's why I'm humbly asking for a bursary to help me cover the costs of my education. This funding would be a lifeline, enabling me to focus on my studies and reach my full potential. I'm not just asking for myself, but for the countless women who are still trapped in the cycle of poverty, looking for a way out. I'm an avid bookworm who spends most days indoors, devouring books across genres. Reading is my passion, and I find solace in getting lost in stories and learning new things. Music is also a favorite pastime, providing a melodic escape from the world outside my cozy haven
