Otlotleng's Story I first became interested in coding due to its ability to create and innovate. The idea of building websites, applications, and solving real-world problems through programming fascinated me. Additionally, the growing impact of technology on everyday life made me realize the importance of understanding how it works. Learning about coding's potential for automation, data analysis, and creative expression further fueled my interest.
My motivation for learning to code with SheCodes would be to empower myself with practical and relevant skills in a supportive and inclusive environment. SheCodes offers hands-on, project-based learning that makes coding accessible and enjoyable, especially for those who might feel intimidated by the tech industry. The opportunity to join a community of like-minded women and receive mentorship from experienced professionals is also a significant draw, fostering both personal and professional growth.
Some of my hobbies include reading, writing, and exploring new technologies. I enjoy diving into a good book, whether it's fiction, non-fiction, or something related to tech and science. Writing allows me to express my creativity and thoughts. I also like to stay updated with the latest advancements in technology and experiment with new programming languages or tools. In my downtime, I enjoy watching movies, hiking, and spending time with friends and family.
